Gene England Memorial

FH Championship

The first Gene England Memorial FH Championship will be held this year in conjunction with the annual spring Working Dog Championships. Originally planned for 2020 but postponed, the event date has now been set for Thursday April 29th. Competitors interested in participating in this prestigious inaugural event will meet/greet and turn in scorebooks to complete their registration on Wednesday evening, April 28th. A special first place championship trophy has been designed to honor one of USCA’s most iconic and successful trainers and supporters of the tracking phase of our sport. As a special note, this will be the 30th Anniversary of Gene’s winning (96 points) this event in 1991 among a field of 15 competitors. His influence was very broad across the USCA and should be memorialized. This first annual event will accept up to only 12 entries which will be provided on a first come, first served basis based on a paid entry. For additional information and registration, look to the USCA website for the 2021 USCA Working Dog Championships.
